Worlée is pilot company at sustainability project
Within the framework of the sustainability initiative "Chemie hoch 3", Worlée has specified as one of 12 companies an extensive catalogue of measures that will be implemented within the next months. Therefor Worlée received and award in Juli 2014.
The initiative Chemie3 is an alliance of different federations that supports the concept of sustainability in the chemie industry. The Worlée-Chemie GmbH was one of the first companies to join the alliance and do the sustainability check. Here every company commits itself to prove its internal processes in the sections ecology, economy and social engagement - the aim is to design these sections more and more sustainable. At Worlée a team of nine had the challenge to identify potential for improvement. Five themes were identified, which will be implemented til the end of the year.
For its engagement the family company was awarded by the Chemie3 initiative in July 2014. The sustainability-check will be implemented in other companies as well in the future.
