Vegan products

Healthy diet, conscious enjoyment: More and more Germans have given up meat and animal products in the last years. Worlée offers a lot of raw materials that should be included in every vegan diet plan.

From Bryan Adams to Natalie Portman to Johnny Depp, more and more celebrities and professional athletes publicly acknowledge a personal diet that excludes meat and animal products such as milk and eggs. On Amazon, hardly a week goes by without the appearance of at least one vegan cookbook on the cookbook bestseller list. In this and other ways, “vegan“ has become a part of mainstream society.

Approximately 800,000 Germans abstained from the consumption of steak and breakfast eggs during the year 2013, and this tendency is increasing. The German Vegetarian Union predicts that the 1 million mark could be exceeded by the end of this year. Worlée NaturProdukte GmbH offers a wide variety of products that provide consumers with not just more diversity for their menus but also important vitamins and minerals for their bodies.

The soybean with something extra

Tofu, produced from soybeans, has become a well-established substitute for meat. Soy pastes, on the other hand, are still not quite so familiar with the general public. With Yaso, Worlée offers an innovative soy product featuring a diverse range of uses as a milk, egg and meat substitute. It has already been the recipient of numerous international prizes. Yaso products are particularly noteworthy because the sprouting process of the soybean is halted precisely at the point when the nutritional value attains its maximal level. The pastes are notable for their particularly high protein content, large amount of dietary fibre, improved digestibility and high concentrations of Vitamins C, E and K. Soya from Yaso is available in cooked, ground or roasted forms – depending on the application area.

Nuts – more than just a snack
With their unsaturated fatty acids and numerous minerals, nuts are practically indispensable for the regular diet of a vegan. The necessary amounts of many essential nutrients are otherwise only available from the consumption of animal products. Worlée’s product range includes all common nut varieties, from peanuts, hazelnuts and cashew nuts to almonds and Brazil nuts, including organic seals. Nuts are available as an individual product or in mixes together with our exotic or domestic dried fruits.

Mushrooms as an optimal vegan resource

Edible mushrooms provide an excellent supply of the minerals potassium, iron, and zinc, which are particularly important for vegan diets. With its mushroom selection, Worlée also puts its long years of experience to good use for vegans, offering dried mushrooms such as champignons, porcini or chanterelles in different qualities and  cuts.

Nearly all of our raw materials are available both in conventional and in organic form. Look forward to a vegan future with ideal products. Go right ahead – our Worlée team will be pleased to advise you.
