Cosmetic raw materials for the future

At its Stand 7G71 at this year’s in-cosmetics in Barcelona, Worlée Cosmetics will present new products for the raw materials market of tomorrow.

In recent months, numerous studies have dealt with the subject of microplastic particles. These tiny beads are used in skin care products to produce a desirable exfoliating effect. However, their residue then travels through sewage systems into the sea - and we can only begin to imagine the severe consequences of this for people, animals and the environment.

With WorléeBeads HCO, Worlée has already set itself the task of developing a natural alternative to plastic exfoliant particles. Based on castor oil, Worlée’s new product is biodegradable and may be used in numerous cosmetic rinse-off products for facial and body care. They are odourless and colourless, free from harmful additives and derived from 100% renewable resources. Their consistently smooth surface allows a soft and gentle exfoliation – damage to the outer layer of the skin, which often happens with other products, is a thing of the past with WorléeBeads HCO.

If colored exfoliant beads are the preferred choice for a cosmetic product, WorléeBeads Jojoba are an environmentally friendly alternative that conforms to NaTrue and Ecocert criteria and is made of jojoba wax. WorléeBeads HCO as well as its Jojoba variant may be used together with the new rheology modifier WorléeAqua Thix to create an exfoliant product with outstanding characteristics.

WorléeAqua Thix is a PEG-free liquid acrylic dispersion designed to thicken, suspend and stabilize products containing low and high levels of surfactants or electrolytes. It is a cost effective and easy to use product with numerous benefits. You can create sophisticated products with different textures ranging from clear formulations with suspended particles to pearlescent systems and oil-rich shower creams.

Besides these innovative products, from 14th to 16th April at Stand 7G71, fair visitors can look forward to a number of raw materials that are oriented especially towards the future needs of the cosmetic industry.
