New US Consul General visits Worlée

Last Tuesday, the family company welcomed US Consul General Richard T. Yoneoka

The USA and Germany are closely linked by an intensive social, political and cultural exchange of ideas. Both countries are dedicated to strong cooperative efforts in the area of economic concerns. The renewed visit of the US Consul General to Worlée confirmed the USA’s significant interest in the German economy. Just a few months after taking office, US Consul General Richard T. Yoneoka, accompanied by Michael W. Gray, Consul for Political and Economic Affairs, visited the family company. Yoneoka’s area of jurisdiction includes Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Bremen, Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Lower Pomerania.

Reinhold von Eben-Worlée and Bernd Rosenstein led the visitors through the production halls, providing the US Americans with a close look at the refining facility for natural raw materials. The facility tour was followed by a short company presentation and an extensive product presentation, which gave the visitors the opportunity to not just see, but also smell and taste Worlée’s products. Overall, US Consul General Yoneoka was impressed by the company’s long history, its constantly expanding sales figures and workforce numbers as well as the steady ongoing development of the company.

We extend our thanks for this visit and would be pleased to welcome the US Consul General again soon.
