Worlée will be taking part in the NVVT Meeting 2018 at the Congress Center ‘t Veerhuis. Worlée’s Senior Lab Manager Lars Ossenschmidt presentation theme is “High Solid, silane functional polyurethane resins for various applications”. The chemistry of the WorléePur Si products provides the coating industry novel resins, which make the development of isocyanate free coatings possible. Thanks to the use of a wide range of different polyols, coatings for various applications are within reach. Though drying and crosslinking times are very short the pot life and processing times are much longer than for conventional two component systems. Coatings are early loadable and have outstanding chemical resistance. Paints based on alkyd polyurethanes do not require siccatives or anti-skinning agents, but require the addition of an acid for catalysis. Additional advantages are that the coating is not yellowing and there is no aldehyde split off.
