Highly versatile – parsley and chives from Europe and the local region

Many of today’s salad dressings and soups, not to mention cream cheese preparations, would be hard to imagine without parsley and chives. Although exotic flavor variations are as popular as ever, many customers remain devoted to products featuring classic garden herbs. At Worlée, we offer both of these herbal varieties as dried raw materials from regional and European sources.

Many of today’s salad dressings and soups, not to mention cream cheese preparations, would be hard to imagine without parsley and chives. Although exotic flavor variations are as popular as ever, many customers remain devoted to products featuring classic garden herbs.

At Worlée, we offer both of these herbal varieties as dried raw materials from regional and European sources, and this is advantageous in many ways. The short delivery period from the field to the processing facility keeps bacterial levels to a minimum and allows for longer shelf life.

Further, we can respond quickly to requests and send our products to customers within a very short period of time. At the same time, lower fuel consumption helps to shrink the ecological footprint.

Our modern, gentle production processes yield products that adhere to the highest quality standards and are also traceable at any time.

Advantages of regional and European products:

  • short delivery time
  • long shelf life
  • better traceability
  • the most modern production processes
  • adherence to strict legal requirements concerning pesticide residues

But where exactly are parsley and chives used for food processing purposes? Along with classic preparations such as curd cheese, prepared salads or mashed potatoes, garden herbs are also included more and more often in green smoothies or baked goods. Their color improves the appearance of the final product and add an extra hint of freshness to the taste.

Worlée’s product range includes parsley in flat and curly qualities as well as in various cut sizes. We offer chives with a particularly uniform cut. Both herbs are also available in air-dried as well as freeze-dried form. Upon request, our R&D department stands ready to help you develop your own individual herb blends.

Application examples:

  • salad dressings / dips
  • cream cheese / curd cheese
  • soups / sauces
  • baked goods
  • smoothies
  • ready-made meals
