Worlée runs for a good cause
The medium-sized company from Hamburg again took part in the biggest charity run in Northern Germany.
Last Saturday, 45 Worlée employees from the Hamburg, Lauenburg and Lübeck locations took part in the Hamburg Commercial Bank Run (formerly HSH Nordbank Run). The colleagues walked or ran over four kilometres through HafenCity for a good cause: the largest company run in the north donated part of the income from the entry fee for each runner to the initiative "Children help children and kids into the clubs".
"Not only the fun of exercise, but also donations for a good cause put a smile on the faces of our employees. This year, too, our colleagues who are enthusiastic about sports are happy to be part of something big and to be part of the Worlée family for the 16th time," says Enno Horstmann, employee at Worlée-Chemie in Lauenburg and teamlead of the company run.
The running shoes are currently being cleaned and taken out again in one year at the latest, when the Hamburg Commercial Bank Run is on the doorstep again.
