Lübeck's mayor Jan Lindenau visits Worlée

As part of his summer tour, Lübeck's mayor Jan Lindenau visited the Worlée-Chemie production facility in Lübeck on August 8, 2019. He was accompanied by Spyridon Aslanisdis (Project Manager Corporate Support) and Lucas Braun (Manager Public Relations) from the Lübeck Economic Development Corporation. After a short company presentation, Reinhold von Eben-Worlée (Managing Partner of the Worlée Group), Joachim Freude (General Manager Worlée-Chemie) and Dirk Brune (Head of Technology and Process Engineering at the Lübeck site) guided the visitors through the factory in Fabrikstraße.

In a subsequent "round table", Jan Lindenau and Reinhold von Eben-Worlée discussed topics such as the shortage of skilled workers, the general economic situation in Lübeck and the development opportunities for Worlée at the site. The mayor also explained his goals with regard to the digitization and networking of the administrative apparatus of the city of Lübeck. In future, this will also be relevant for the economy and thus for the development of the Worlée site. The mayor is hoping for faster and more efficient application procedures through more efficient organisational framework conditions.
