Worlée Chemie Reaffirms Partnership with Sailing Talent Nik Aaron Willim

Based in Kiel and competing in the demanding ILCA 7 class, Nik has already made his mark internationally, with top 5 finishes at the European Championship and French Olympic Week, and a standout performance at the Allianz Sailing World Championships, helping Germany qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games. In addition, he has won multiple German national titles and maintained a position within the top 10 of the world rankings over a continuous two-year period from 2023 to 2024.

We are excited to support him on his journey to the 2028 Olympics in LA. This partnership is a perfect fit, as Worlée Chemie provides raw materials for boat varnishes, directly supporting the sport Nik loves.

Having known each other for some time, during a recent personal meeting at the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein at the Alster in Hamburg, the connection was reaffirmed. Our Managing Partner Reinhold von Eben Worlée, himself a passionate sailor, and Nik quickly found themselves on the same wavelength again, united by their enthusiasm for the sport and a shared mindset of performance and perseverance.

Nik embodies the spirit of modern competitive sailing: focused, resilient, and always striving to improve. Having successfully completed his Master’s degree, he is now fully dedicated to his athletic career, representing not only sporting excellence but also discipline and dedication beyond the water.
