Based in Kiel and competing in the demanding ILCA 7 class, Nik has already made his mark internationally, with top 5 finishes at the European Championship and French Olympic Week, and a standout performance at the Allianz Sailing World Championships, helping Germany qualify for the 2024 Olympic Games. In addition, he has won multiple German national titles and maintained a position within the top 10 of the world rankings over a continuous two-year period from 2023 to 2024.

Having known each other for some time, during a recent personal meeting at the Norddeutscher Regatta Verein at the Alster in Hamburg, the connection was reaffirmed.
